Carruades de Lafite (Pauillac) 1995

The second wine of Chateau Lafite Rothschild. Musty aroma when opened. After decanting and hand-an-hour of breathing, the mustiness blew away and the wine opened nicely. Lots of pencil shavings and dark fruit. Soft tannins. Probably starting down hill. Drink up. Grade: B/B+
