My last fantasy draft of the year was held today in a ten team rotisserie league. Snake draft with me drafting in 5th spot in odd numbered rounds and 6th in even rounds. You start 1 QB, 3 RBs, 3 WRs, a TE, a DST, and a K. Four points per passing TD, 6 per rushing or receiving TD, plus yardage points for 25 yards passing and 10 rushing or receiving.
My team
| 1. | (5) | Jamaal Charles | RB |
| 2. | (16) | LeSean McCoy | RB |
| 3. | (25) | DeSean Jackson | WR |
| 4. | (36) | Brandon Marshall | WR |
| 5. | (45) | Ben Roethlisberger | QB |
| 6. | (56) | Santonio Holmes | WR |
| 7. | (65) | Vernon Davis | TE |
| 8. | (76) | Ryan Mathews | RB |
| 9. | (85) | Reggie Bush | RB |
| 10. | (96) | Steve Smith | WR |
| 11. | (105) | Ben Tate | RB |
| 12. | (116) | New England | DEF |
| 13. | (125) | Kendall Hunter | RB |
| 14. | (136) | Matt Bryant | K |
| 15. | (145) | Marcedes Lewis | TE |
| 16. | (156) | Matt Cassel | QB |
I'm pretty happy with how this team turned out. Obviously, the strength is at RB, but WR could be a position of strength if Jackson and Holmes have the seasons for which I'm hoping. I had not planned to go RB RB, but having McCoy fall to me at 16--even though this isn't a PPR league--was too much temptation to pass up.
I'm solid at TE (stunned to see today that the Jags cut Garrard though, which reduces Lewis' value).
In three of the four drafts this year, I waited to take a QB in the middle rounds. And I finally got the guy I was targeting in all three-Big Ben. Of course, if he goes down, I'm in VERY big trouble.
Ben Tate and Kendall Hunter were taken as trade bait. I figure Gore and/or Foster will spend some time on the bench this year, so I'm hoping to pick up a WR3 if their owns want their handcuffs.
