Reposted: UCLA Political Scientist says Newt Gingrich is Biggest Threat to Obama

Given Newt Gingrich's recent surge, I thought it was worth reposting an earlier observation that UCLA political scientist Lynn Vavreck, who is a very impressive and perceptive analyst (I've heard her talk here on campus several times), discusses her reasearch on the 2012 campaign video attached to this story. At the end of the video, she casually drops the bombshell that she believes Newt Gingrich poses perhaps the most serious threat to Obama of all the GOP candidates. Offered FWIW.
