The first is sad. The Royals haven’t made the playoffs since 1985.
The second is sadder. It’s sad because the accusations are unceasing, but seemingly facile. It’s sadder still because it reflects the hatred that journalists and academia hold for big business. Why hate big business? Big business creates wealth; big business creates the iPhone5; big business efficiently manages resources (so long as it’s not subsidized by the government); big business employees millions, including its enemies ....
