Delaware ONline reports:
Gov. Jack Markell on Thursday nominated Andre G. Bouchard, a widely respected Wilmington corporate lawyer, to lead Delaware’s prestigious Court of Chancery.
Bouchard, 53, was considered the frontrunner for the job since former Chancellor Leo E. Strine Jr. was tapped as chief justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. ...
A graduate of Harvard Law School, Bouchard is managing partner of Bouchard, Margules & Friedlander in Wilmington. He founded the firm in 1996 with former Vice Chancellor Stephen P. Lamb.
I think it's a strong choice. He'll have big shoes to fill, of course.
