On Wednesday of this week, Brian Leiter announced that:
Next week, I'll have up on the ranking site a new study of the ten most-cited faculty during the years 2009 through 2013 in 11 different areas of legal schoarship (everything from corporate law to legal history to tax). As a teaser, here are the ten most-cited faculty overall (who are still in law teaching) for the period 2009-2013 ...
Go to this site to see that list (I'm not on it).
Today he teased with the ten most cited tax faculty.
And so I am awaiting Leiter's ranking of corporate law scholars with a mixture of hope and trepidation. When he last undertook this exercise (in 2010) I ranked fourth with 850 citations during the relevant time period and was the youngest person in the top 10 list.
By my Westlaw search of Stephen /2 Bainbridge, I had 1,003 cites between 1/1/2009 and 12/31/2013. So where am I on the current list?
