We have previously written about the imminent vacancy on the Delaware Chancery Court that will occur when one of the members of the Court finishes his term in a few weeks. He has decided not to seek re-appointment. The process to fill the vacancy includes an application to and vetting by the Judicial Nominating Commission, who provides a list of three to the Governor. After selection by the Governor from the list, the state senate votes on the appointment. Here is an article about it by Maureen Milford that appeared today in the local Wilmington newspaper.
