At age 19, this Bordeaux red is still remarkably youthful. Deep ruby color with no signs of brick or red. Strong legs. Big and complex bouquet of cherry, red currant, and a whiff of cedar. Forward fruit on the palate, with notes of choclate, coffee, and cedar. But mostly black fruit. Sufficient structure to support another decade (at least) of cellaring. Grade: A-
