We had steak and potatoes for dinner tonight while watching the NFL draft (lots of tweets about that). The Pine Ridge was a great match.
I suspect that this wine is at the tail end of its prime drinking age, but it was still very enjoyable tonight. Lots of sediment; needed decanting. Good ruby color, however. Big bouquet. Prunes, berries, earthy, leather, tobacco, spice. Ditto the palate.
