Helen and I both tremendously enjoyed Mental State, which was our friend Todd Henderson's first novel. It was a tremendously well done mystery/legal thriller. So we're excited that he's now published a sequel, State of Shock. We've placed our order.
Todd Henderson is the Michael J. Marks Professor of Law at the University of Chicago Law School, where he is prolific author of books, articles, and popular pieces on subjects ranging from business law to the regulation of Wall Street to legal issues involving Native Americans. Prior to becoming an academic, he worked as a business consultant, lawyer, and civil engineer.
